Letter from the Director
Welcome. I’m Celia Delaney, Director of Delaney & Hart. I started the company in 2007 because I saw a lot of training out there that was terrifyingly mediocre. I felt that a lot of people were captive - literally trapped - by a lack of knowledge or skill and more often than not, a lack of confidence. If only they could receive encouragement, knowledge and most importantly, PRACTICE in communicating and being with others, they could be free. Free from fear and discouragement. Free from frustration and failure. Just free.
So I set up Delaney & Hart to teach people how to communicate with one another. The personal impact and speaking work I do came later, because it became evident that people wanted to go on to achieve more once they’d been on our communication skills courses, so I started to run ‘Creating the Wow Factor’ which is all about being personally inspiring and ‘Supercharge your Presentation Skills’, a masterclass for those who have mastered the basics of speaking and want to do more.
